James Jarman, PIPersonal Message from James Jarman:

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is James Jarman. I am a retired police officer from Stockton, California. I have over 19 years of law enforcement experience in patrol, investigations, under cover assignments, as well as a training officer. I have always been involved in uniformed services.

I was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force in 1990, having earned Commendation and Meritorious Service Medals.

I entered the law enforcement career field and began working for the Merced County Sheriff’s Department where I was an armed / unarmed defensive tactics instructor, small arms combat instructor, and Corrections Officer.

After leaving the Sheriff’s Department, I moved to the Stockton Police Department. I held several positions to include; under-cover officer, training officer, firearms instructor, traffic enforcement officer, patrol, and acting sergeant.

During my career as a police officer, I attended several Criminal Justice classes, advanced officer training courses, as well as specialized courses to educate myself in investigation of criminal and civil cases.

To this day, I continue my education in the new laws regarding civil & criminal investigations, evidence, and rules of arrest.

Since retiring in 2006, Mr. Jarman has been involved with, and dedicated to, the private sector as a licensed private investigator. His work now includes criminal & civil investigations, surveillance, fraud, workers’ compensation, and background investigations. He provides skip tracing for missing persons, bail enforcement agents, and people who have lost contact with loved ones.

He is a lifetime member of the Police Officer’s Association.

Mr. Jarman is a family oriented man and believes in good old fashioned hard work and dedication. He also believes that quality is far better than quantity, and will take on each case with personal pride and attention to detail.
